Air traffic

I'm not sure what was happening today, but the skies are crowded. About two minutes after the regular Stndair floatplane took off and flew south, heading for the Hamptons, two Sea Kings of Marine Helicopter 1 – the unit responsible for transporting the president and vice-president, and other dignitaries – flew the other way. All it would have taken was one late-arriving passenger and they could have met over the Williamsburg Bridge, something that would probably have triggered a few conniption fits in the Secret Service.

Later in the day, a flight of four Blackhawk military helicopters – not a very common sight in these parts – also flew north along the river.
